The 2007 ISTA-China Packaging Symposium, held September 25 - 26 in Shanghai, was a great success. The event featured an educational program with 14 expert speakers, commercial exhibits, a CPLP Workshop including both Technician and Technologist  levels, excellent networking opportunities, and enjoyable social events.

CPLP WORKSHOPS

The ISTA Certified Packaging Laboratory Professional (CPLP) program encourages and recognizes the expertise of those working in and associated with package testing laboratories. Over400 Certificates have been awarded to date in the three CPLP levels — Technician, Technologist, and Professional.

The typical approach to CPLP certification is through a self-paced self-study program, either with printed materials or on-line. In-person Workshops are held several times a year, however, for those who prefer that format.

The last Workshop was held in Aguascalientes, Mexico in mid-October. The next scheduled Workshop will be held in conjuction with ISTA's Transport Packaging Forum at Walt Disney World in Florida, March 17-20, 2008.  Click Here for more information.
