It is with great sadness that we share the passing of former ISTA staff member and longtime friend, Dennis Young. Dennis played a foundational role in ISTA’s future when he helped lead the association in 1995 with a new vision. Dennis served as ISTA’s Technical Director prior to joining the MSU School of Packaging.

Dennis was a packaging legend, an incredible mentor and teacher, and a friend to so many of us. His ease and exceptional talent to share his wealth of technical knowledge, along with a great story and a bit of humor will be deeply missed by our community. We will be forever grateful for his enormous contributions to ISTA and his remarkable impact on the packaging industry. We extend our deepest sympathies to Dennis’s family.

A Celebration of Life is being planned for Spring 2023. Click here to visit Dennis's obituary.
