Call for Participants: ISTA Procedure 3B Maintenance Workgroup
ISTA has received a request to maintain Procedure 3B, Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) Shipment. The proposed maintenance includes both editorial and technical updates and has been approved by the ISTA Standards Council for consideration by the ISTA Test Series Group, ISTA’s consensus body.As part of ISTA’s established process for protocol creation and maintenance, an ad hoc workgroup is being formed to develop draft documents for voting. The change request addresses a real world handling scenario in which freight, whether palletized or not, may be handled with a forklift.
The workgroup is expected to kick off in August, and participation is open to all interested parties at any time. Those interested in contributing to the maintenance of this protocol are encouraged to sign up.
