The ISTA Global Board of Directors is pleased to announce the election of Bill Green, Distinguished Engineer & Chief Technologist at IBM Systems Supply Chain, as its new Chair. “I am very excited for this opportunity to collaborate with such a strong group of thought leaders in the packaging and distribution industries,” said Bill Green. “As Chair of the ISTA Global Board of Directors, I have the chance to lead & advance ISTA’s efforts of being the leading resource to the global transport packaging community.”  Bill succeeds Greg Batt, Professor at Clemson University, who will remain on the board serving as Immediate Past Chair.
 
Nora Crivello, President & CEO at WESTPAK, Inc. was also elected as Vice Chair. “I am honored to serve as Vice Chair on ISTA’s 2022 Global Board of Directors,” said Nora Crivello. “ISTA is the most trusted and knowledgeable authority in transport packaging, and I am thrilled to continue the mission of the organization and support the companies we empower.”
 
ISTA is also pleased to welcome new member-at-large director to ISTA’s Global Board of Directors, Anthony (TJ) Rizzo, Chief Commercial Officer at Cold Chain Technologies. TJ has extensive experience in the packaging industry and will provide valuable input and perspective to ISTA.
 
Three individuals recently completed their terms, and ISTA would like to express our deep appreciation for their outstanding contributions to our Board of Directors. The departing members, Sam Sheppard Fidler of Smithers, Greg Fornasiero of The Home Depot, and Mike Gabriel of Land O’ Lakes have been an integral part of ISTA’s growth during their terms of service.

“ISTA and the entire transport packaging community has benefited from the experience Sam, Greg and Mike brought to the table during their time on the Global Board of Directors,” said ISTA President & CEO A.J. Gruber. “ISTA would like to thank them for their commitment in guiding ISTA’s mission with their valuable insights and expertise.”
